A 2-year-old cat was brought in due to avulsion of the chin lip. It was shared in the anamnesis that his chin was stuck on the wire while he was trying to jump over the wires. Oral examination and intraoral radiographs showed no mandibular symphyseal separation. The avulsion, which was found to be not deep under general anesthesia, was reconstructed with 2/0 sutures. Antibiotic application against secondary infections for 5 days and soft food for a week. End of the third week, the recovery was fully achieved and she returned to normal eating.

It is always a surprise that we will encounter cats whatever it is about.
