The “Animal Love and Health Education” course, organized by Kemer Municipality Health Affairs Directorate, to instill animal love to all the little students in the district, was given.
During the 2016-2107 academic year, the officials who gave education to students at Merkez Primary School, Mustafa Rüştü Tuncer Primary School and Kemer Aslanbucak Kindergarten, also told the children about the animal species, their habitats and the behaviors towards them.
In the training given by Kemer Municipality Veterinarian Seda Aytekin, all 1-2 Primary and Kindergarten students in the district were told about animal love in order to instill the love of animals and the sense of responsibility towards animals in their minds when they were younger.
In the trainings given in primary and kindergartens, the information about animal types, their sheltering areas, their behavior towards animals and how to communicate with animals was conveyed. Within the scope of the education, where the responsibility towards animals was emphasized to a great extent, it was said that it was wrong to adopt an animal that you cannot take care of children for the rest of their lives. Students were given information about Kemer Municipality Street Animals Protection Center and their questions were answered.
